Height:

20-30 ft.

10 ft.

Description:

This, the aristocrat of junipers grows nothing like most others. A tall upright shrub with many twisting arms, often in naturally attractive arrangements. Old specimens here may exceed fifteen feet and often resemble miniature windswept cedars of the Pacific coast. The dark green foliage is attractive, and not spikey.

Conifer, evergreen, shrub/tree, high, female, branches slightly twisted, appear "as tufts of swirling foliage" (Jacobson, 1996).   Leaves scale-like, vivid green.
